Mark S. Shearer is originally from Monroeville, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Pittsburgh Central Catholic in 1989. Mark's interest in law began at a young age. Mark's legal interest was fostered when he was a Political Science student at John Carroll University.
As a law student at Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, Mark taught a "street law" class for High School students at Benedictine High School. He was fascinated by how little his students and the general public knew about the law and how important such knowledge is. Mark understands that his job as a lawyer is also that of an educator and strives to provide engaging, knowledge-based, legal representation.
Mark graduated from John Carroll University in 1993 with a BA in Political Science. Mark graduated from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law with a Juris Doctor in 1996.
Mark worked for Lutz & Associates after law school until he transitioned into working with Attorney Allen A. Kacenjar. Mark started his solo practice in 2000 and has since worked in courts across Ohio. Mark has been lead counsel in numerous jury trials and has argued before multiple appellate courts including the Ohio Supreme Court. Mark lives in Strongsville, Ohio with his wife and two children. Mark attends St. Joseph Church in Strongsville and is a member of the Strongsville Knights of Columbus.
